“Stat Crux dum volvitur orbis”…”The Cross is steady, while the world is turning”. (Carthusian’s motto)
With Gideon, God’s revelation of him became his confidence. God calls us out, just like He called Gideon into his destiny by claiming him as a man of valour. Abraham is remembered as the Father of Faith, an amazing transition for someone who in the beginning doubted God’s promise that he would have a son and in impatience tried to make the promise happen his way.
Remember, God’s perspective of us is in our finished eternal state – not the condition we are in now, not based on where we’ve been, but where we will end up!
Rick Joyner once wrote,“True Christianity is the greatest adventure that anyone can have on this earth. True Church life, the way it was intended to be, is a supernatural experience. It is life from another realm beyond this earth that brings true life to this earth.”
When you received Jesus, you became a person that inhabits two worlds – Heaven and Earth.
“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6)
Do you live from Heaven towards Earth or from Earth towards Heaven? We are spiritual beings having a brief human experience – and our lives should reflect this. Being seated in Heavenly places gives us a new, higher perspective on our lives, our relationships and God’s plans and purposes for us.
Now that is truly an extraordinary, exciting and an amazing invitation to live a life beyond what we can see and touch!
Don’t look at restrictive circumstances but at the possibilities of God.
Don’t look at what God hasn’t done for you but what He is doing
