True Christianity

Rick Joyner once wrote,“True Christianity is the greatest adventure that anyone can have on this earth. True Church life, the way it was intended to be, is a supernatural experience. It is life from another realm beyond this earth that brings true life to this earth.”

When you received Jesus, you became a person that inhabits two worlds – Heaven and Earth.

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6)

Do you live from Heaven towards Earth or from Earth towards Heaven? We are spiritual beings having a brief human experience – and our lives should reflect this. Being seated in Heavenly places gives us a new, higher perspective on our lives, our relationships and God’s plans and purposes for us.

Now that is truly an extraordinary, exciting and an amazing invitation to live a life beyond what we can see and touch!

Living in the Light of Eternity

Every day is an important day and every second is a growth opportunity to deepen your character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God. Some tests seem overwhelming, while others you don’t even notice. But all of them have eternal implications. We will be tested by major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticism. God watches our responses to people, problems, success, failure. The big things and the little things – picking up that rubbish, opening the door for someone.

The closer you live to God, the smaller everything else appears and the greater the ability for you to rise above challenges, circumstances, trials. Living in the light of eternity. Values change, relationships change, character grows.

End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path… One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass… And then you see it…” Gandalf

Eternity – CS Lewis concludes the Chronicles of Narnia with this…and it sums up eternity very well.

“For us this is the end of all the stories…But for them it was only the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world…had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read, which goes on forever and in which every chapter is better than the one before.”

The Bible says “this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven.” (Hebrews 13:14)

We were created for something better than this. We will never be completely satisfied because it is not home. Hotels are great but they’re not home….fine linen but not home….

“We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

We need to live in the light of eternity. We need to live in the light of God.
